Sybil Kuhl

Personality:
Sybil's the optimistic-type of person. She's usually a happy person with a smile on her face, is very social and outgoing (loves to make new friends) and friendly with everyone (sometimes even with battle opponents) unless there's a reason otherwise. Her enthusiasm is still high as Sybil values sheer determination, willing to keep fighting for what she feels she has to. Just... be aware of her occasional randomness.
As a geek, Sybil is sometimes seen rambling to herself and thinking out loud her latest theories and rational plans. She used to be a hot-headed person who often dived head-first into situations, but has matured and carefully plans her actions before hand (most of the times she even thinks things scientifically).

Family:
Sybil is an only child. Both her parents are scientist and still live in Saffron. They're very busy people but really nice to their daughter's friends (though they may not be aware when they're making someone uncomfortable).

History:
Being the daughter of two scientists, it's no surprise that Sybil has aimed to become one as well. Ever since young she wished to spend time in laboratories where her parents worked since she wasn't allowed there. As her parent would say 'It was too dangerous'.

Her passion for science and physics only kept her researching and studying, ever since she was a little girl, so she's got great knowledge in those aspects. Sybil took a special interest in radioactivity since long ago and it has been stuck ever since, specially after suspecting that Shiny Pokemon could be related to the matter. Hours, days, weeks... years spent in the laboratories were spent to create a formula capable to transform normal pokemon into Shiny forms. Sybil has finally succeeded, after managing to do it once by mistake (which happened with an Electrode, which she now owns, when she used to work for Team Rocket) she has now created the Shiny Dust which will transform any Pokemon Shiny. This Dust however is limited so she can't go around and turning any Pokémon Shiny.

Her adventures as a pokemon trainer is something she doesn't regret as well since she used her time well to studies the species she came across with. She's been to Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh and Unova; with Unova being the place she's liked the most by far, as well where she spent a large amount of time doing research.

During the years, Sybil has also developed a hobby of hers that is to create technological stuff which turned into an aspiration. Such example can be her modify clothes, her head piece (which also serves to act as a C-gear and Pokédex), her hover board, etc. She has become a phenomenal Engineer after years of experience and that was the main reason she was chosen for the Tournament. In the Victory Tournament, Sybil has been in charge of the technology, machinery functions, devices, buildings and equipments. As an engineer, creating new technological inventions is something she enjoys doing quite a lot. If there's any malfunction in any of the buildings, Sybil will be there to see the problem and make sure she fixes it. And if you ever need an upgrade in equipment or technical assistance, you know who to call.

Curious facts:
Sybil no longer shouts random remarks about being radioactive although she still thinks so;
Even though she's afraid of heights and flying, her boyfriend's a specialist in Flying-type Pokemon and She owns a Golurk that knows Fly;
She spent a whole year in Unova, studying about shinies and the new technologies before participating in the Battle Frontier in Ohana Islands. After a couple of years she returned there to continue her studies;
She used to be part of Team Rocket prior to the UBF events but is over them and regrets helping with their research.

History:
Neon is Sybil's first pokemon. She was a birthday present for Sybil in her tenth birthday from her parents. In fact, she was a non-shiny Eevee then, surprisingly. A visit to the Laboratory where Sybil's parents worked was where it happened. Neon got lost inside and while she played, an experiment had fallen on top of her and for some apparent reason turned her Shiny. The substance is was unknown at the time. As for personality, Neon is friendly while at the same time serious in battles.

History:
'Chem' for short, is perhaps Sybi's most helpful partner in her engineering work. Its form allows it and Sybil's quite grateful. She decided to bring Chem for Hyperion before since it was about time it participated in a great competition after all that training ever since it was a Klink. Actually, Chem is confident in its battle skills. Despite not showing any emotions, Chem is a very daring and joyful pokemon. It enjoys fun, like pokemon battles, as well as interacting with others. Just don't get on its bad side and you'll be fine, unless you want to be on the end of those spikes...

History:
Tellurium is a recent addition to the team and is one of Sybil's most competitive Pokémon. He's a quiet and serious pokemon who respects his trainer wholeheartedly. He used to be a lonely Luxray in the wild, believing he didn't need any trainer and that he was fine by himself until Sybil accidentally caught him when she was trying to catch another wild pokémon. It took him a while to warm up to her but he eventually gave in to her. He occasionally joins in her engineering creations when she needs energy charging. In battles, Tellurium can be violent and rash, but he's actually confident in them.
